What I love about Pilates
I love that Pilates is a whole body workout that improves posture, breath awareness and coordination whilst building strength and stamina. I do believe it benefits people of all fitness levels and capabilities and in time helps them gain a better understanding of how they move in their every day lives. I think anatomy is cool and I am always curious about how and why people move the way they do.
Something else about me
I found Pilates 10 years ago after an injury, became curious and went on to study Pilates Matwork and the Diploma with PITC which taught me knowledge and skills to competently instruct the Pilates Method in a professional or specialised studio environment.
I run two small businesses - Pilates Essentials and DrumDance Bellydance (teaching and performing Tribal Style Bellydance for the last 25 years in Toowoomba). I love the natural environment, gardening, renovating our beautiful old Queenslander with my partner, cooking healthy and exotic foods and spending time with my grown up children and extended family whenever possible.
