What I love about Pilates
I love that Pilates is a whole body workout that improves posture, breath awareness and coordination whilst building strength and stamina. I do believe it benefits people of all fitness levels and capabilities and in time helps them gain a better understanding of how they move in their every day lives. I think anatomy is cool and I am always curious about how and why people move the way they do. 

Something else about me
I found Pilates 10 years ago after an injury, became curious and went on to study Pilates Matwork and the Diploma with PITC which taught me knowledge and skills to competently instruct the Pilates Method in a professional or specialised studio environment.

​I run two small businesses - Pilates Essentials and DrumDance Bellydance (teaching and performing Tribal Style Bellydance for the last 25 years in Toowoomba). I love the natural environment, gardening, renovating our beautiful old Queenslander with my partner, cooking healthy and exotic foods and spending time with my grown up children and extended family whenever possible.

What I love about massage
Massage is a rewarding job as I get to assist in improving people’s health and well-being. Massage can help with a variety of conditions, promote better musculoskeletal function, reduce pain from muscle tension and assist with overall physical health. In conjunction with physical health, massage can help to reduce stress and mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.

Something else about me
I love playing soccer, working out in the gym, reading, hiking, and always looking for a new way to challenge my body and mind.

What I love about Pilates
I love the focus and body awareness that Pilates brings to a person. Working on individual muscle groups and of course the strong core it builds. Mostly I love that Pilates is for anyone no matter your age, gender, fitness level, injury or goals.

Something else about me
I am an ex ballet dancer and danced for 18 years before following my passion for dance teaching & Pilates. I have studied with the Queensland Ballet and danced in a number of their live performances. I have a passion for choreographing, and love playing around with beautiful music and movement to bring a dance together.
